June's First Mother's Day

Richie and June made me this cute video for Mother's Day. We had a fantastic weekend: at trip to Santa Barbara and the beach yesterday, church today and a relaxing afternoon and evening.  My first Mother's Day as a mother was pretty fantastic.

Hippity Hop

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house last night and June was so excited to see what he brought.

Paul, Kari, Eddie, Fletch, Fran and Calvin came up from Orange County for the evening and Jami and Shayne braved the long trip up from the Valley to join us for Easter dinner.  Jami and Shayne brought a bunny pinata and everyone took a swing.

A Day Trip to Ojai

We took a break from cleaning and unpacking today and took a drive out to Ojai. It was such a beautiful day and June especially loved the swings.

June Fights Off the Paparazzi

We enjoyed a sunny but cold Saturday morning out and about today. June hates the sun in her eyes so she is learning to love sunglasses.

On the Bay

We're enjoying time with Richie's family in the Bay Area and June has become an avid Golden State Warriors fan.

Love to Laugh

Richie took June shopping last Saturday. This video was shot in the car while they were taking a feeding break. Junie loves to laugh with her dad.

A Junebug Christmas

I must admit, I am SUPER excited about our first Christmas with a little one.  For some reason Christmas seems so much more magical with kids around.  And even though June is still too young to understand what's going on, we're so happy to be able to celebrate Christmas with her.

We had a little Chic-fil-A tonight and June was having lots of fun sitting at the table. She thinks she's people.

June loves to dance and listen to music.  She just can't get enough.  

Our Cutest Halloween Yet

I won't junk up this post with a bunch of text.  The pictures say it all.  We love our little Junebug who seems to enjoy Halloween.  On Monday we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. 

 

Tonight we went Trick-or-Treating at Aunt Jami's house.  Lola the geisha dog was also there to greet us.
